Surreal - My paintings are rarely surreal by choice. But when my mind really goes wild, when there is nothing in front of me to study or inspire me, this is what results. From the depths of my mind come paintings which defy logic, but which are close enough to reality to present a world blurred by the resonance of dreams. Isn't this what art is all about? There is no greater joy in my mind, than painting without boundaries. That is why some of our greatest artists in history, were from the Surrealist movement. |
